POSITION SUMMARY

The VP, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for activating PRA strategic partnerships and alliances across all PRA service and solution platforms. This position's primary mission is to focus on aggressively building and growing hotel partnerships revenue.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate as an out-of-the-box change agent and sales leader, building on strategic relationships that can contribute to the growth of PRA revenues.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to aggressively grow partnership revenue across all PRA service and solution platforms. Develop and execute sales and account plans that ensure strategic development of key partners and prospects.
  • Responsible for the overall satisfaction and development of designated strategic partnerships by providing excellent customer service and relationship management.
  • Develop relationships with and work in conjunction with PRA office Leaders & marketing, and other subject matter experts to refine existing sponsorship offerings and develop new solutions that provide both value and revenue opportunity.
  • Collaborate and support office teams in articulating value proposition of PRA strategic partnership solutions in both local hotel and national hotel relationships
  • Knowledgeable in all PRA platforms and solutions. Deliver the brand promise, operating as a trusted advisor and building customer intimacy.
  • Deliver key market intelligence, insights and business opportunities to the office leaders, global sales and marketing department to maximize effectiveness and efficiencies in communication strategies, collateral material development, website strategies and all support functions for the sales department.
  • Travel to partner sites, industry shows and conferences. A high level of sales activity is expected at all times.
  • Contribute to and leverage PRA salesforce.com for Customer Relationship Management and forecasting/ pipeline management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multiple backgrounds will be considered: 10-15 or more years of work experience, with some experience in sponsorship, hospitality, or applicable experience in adjacent industry.
  • Proven sales performer and strategic change agent, with a strong track record of building out new business and new platforms for growth.
  • Strong track record of executive-level sales engagement, relationship building. Strategic, consultative sales skills.
  • Experience managing sophisticated, multi-faceted partnerships & negotiations
  • Proven track record in navigating complex deals, terms, and contracting processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • A love of networking & fostering new connections that drive revenue growth
  • High potential, energetic candidate with a strong drive to win. Background of progressive advancement.
  • Accomplished in operating as a high performance revenue contributor and sales leader, building out new relationships with, and selling to, key stakeholders at the highest levels.
  • Strong sales leader who has managed teams. Proven successful people management experience; capable of acting as visionary leader, advisor, mentor, and coach.
  • Hotel sales experience is desirable not required.
  • Ability to navigate cross-functionally and also work collaboratively, as a key influencer in a matrix organization is required
  • Self-starter, who is a motivated initiator, versatile and willing to take risks to aggressively grow the organization.
  • Ability to persuasively communicate complex concepts and programs at the highest levels desired.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong organizational skills including time and territory management
  • Problem solving and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentations skills; showcased in a clear and concise manner
